Nowadays all communication between people has been moved to social media platforms. Our society is addicted to Facebook, Instagram, Vine (even though now with instagram video who uses vine anymore?), just to name a few. It raises an interesting question; can we survive without electronics and social media?
Personally, I love the internet and our newest, still evolving, technology. I'm a happy owner of all things Apple; iPhone 5, Macbook Pro, iPad Mini. So would you say the best way to market yourself or your company is through these electronics? Statistics show that 60% of Americans spend up to 6 hours a day on their electronic devices and 22% spend 7 to 9 hours! That's a lot of hours. I can't judge because I think I fall into the 22%. Looking at this data collected should help us determine how important it is to market yourself through these outlets.
So what happens if you don't know how to utilize these elements into making your business successful? Well there are people like me waiting around to help people like you. I would say majority of young adults in 2013 have a basic understanding of these electronics and are almost, if not completely, skilled at using them. Of course, you can always just pay someone to train you on how to use your devices. Either way, it is very crucial to develop some type of extension of yourself, or business, that can visually educate and attract these 82% of Americans that are using their electronic devices. Now get on your electronic device and start looking for an outlet to advertise yourself! Just don't fall into the 22 percentile..
